Team MotoXracing continues to believe in the project to develop young female riders who dream of one day competing in the newly conceived women’s world championship.
The team headed up by Sandro Carusi will compete in the 2024 Women’s Italian CIV Championship and the Women’s European Championship with young riders Silvia Comincioli and Denise Dal Zotto.
Born in 2004, Denise returns to competition in Italy after two years in BSB. Having gained significant experience at the British tracks, the young Italian will now be back at the Italian circuits as she takes on the Women’s CIV, as well as European tracks like the Automotodrom Grobnik and the sensational Brno, two of the stages for the WEC.
This will be Silvia’s first real season in the Women’s CIV after making two wildcard appearances last season. The young rider, and mother, comes from the 12 Pollici Italian Cup, a very different championship technically with respect to where she will be in 2024. She will have a lot to learn and a lot of data to collate, but competing in two different championships could serve her well in terms of finding the right feeling as soon as possible.

I’ve spent the last two years in BSB, in the Junior Supersport category with Kawasaki, and so this season will look very different, starting with the new bike, at Italian tracks, very different to the British ones, where I don’t have much experience. Joining a high-level Italian team like MotoXracing is an honour for me! I already had chance to work with them when I wild carded at Imola, the last event of 2023. Unfortunately, the weekend came to a premature end as a I sustained an injury that meant I was unfit to continue but even though I only worked with the team for a short time, I was very happy with what we did, and I was able to learn a lot.
