A due settimana di distanza dal round di Donington Park, il Motoxracing ed il suo pilota Roberto Tamburini sono a Most in Repubblica Ceca, dove in questo fine settimana si disputerà il sesto round del WorldSBK.
Quello inglese è stato un appuntamento impegnativo per Tamburini e per la sua squadra, che sono ora pronti a cimentarsi in quella che sarà un’esperienza nuova visto che il pilota di Rimini non ha mai corso su questo tracciato, tortuoso e non facile da interpretare. Come sempre, oltre alla determinazione necessaria per migliorarsi costantemente, l’obiettivo è quello di entrare in zona punti.
L'Autodrom Most è entrato a far parte del calendario dei campionati delle derivate di serie solo lo scorso anno. E’ situato nel Nord della Repubblica Ceca e può quindi essere raggiunto da moltissimi appassionati. La pista è stata completata nel 1983 come parte del restauro dei terreni minerari che la circondano, ed è diventata il primo complesso motoristico permanente, in quella che era l’allora Cecoslovacchia, un paese nel quale le competizioni motociclistiche hanno una tradizione storica.
La pista è lunga 4212 metri ed è formata da 21 curve, delle quali 12 a destra e 9 a sinistra.
Sandro Carusi – Team Principal: " Dopo le difficoltà incontrate nel precedente round di Donington, spero in una reazione del team e soprattutto del pilota. Anche se Roberto non ha mai corso sul circuito di Most, mi aspetto il massimo impegno".
Roberto Tamburini: “Quella di Most è per me una pista completamente nuova, e mi dovrò quindi impegnare al massimo sin dalle prove libere per impararla, e per adattare la nostra moto a questo tracciato. Dopo un round difficile come quello di Donington, siamo ora attesi ad un’altra prova impegnativa, ma come sappiamo il livello del mondiale Superbike è molto alto e questo mi stimola a fare sempre meglio. In Repubblica Ceca il nostro obiettivo è entrare in zona punti, e sono certo che con l’aiuto della mia squadra lo potremo raggiungere”.

Most, a new event for Tamburini and his team to discover
Just two weeks after the Donington Park round, the Motoxracing team and rider Roberto Tamburini are at Most in the Czech Republic, where round six of the WorldSBK championship is set to take place this weekend.
The British round was a challenging one for Tamburini and his team, who are now in for a new experience, seeing as the Italian rider has never raced at this winding, less than easy to interpret track. As ever, the aim is to reach the points zone with the same determination required to make constant improvement.
The Autodrom Most featured on the production-derived race calendar for the first time last season. Located in the north of the Czech Republic, it offers easy access for many fans. The track was completed in 1983, part of work to recover the surrounding mining area, and became the first permanent motorsport circuit in what was then Czechoslovakia, a country in which motorcycle racing represents an historic tradition. The track is 4212 metres long and comprises 21 turns, twelve of which are right-handers and nine left.
Sandro Carusi – Team Principal: “After the difficulties we had at the last Donington round, I hope that the team, and particularly the rider, are able to react. Although Roberto has never competed at Most, I expect maximum effort.”
Roberto Tamburini: “The Most track is a brand new one for me and so I’ll have to really work hard right from free practice in order to learn it and adapt our bike to suit. After a difficult round like Donington, we now except another challenging weekend but, as we know, the level in WorldSBK is very high and this pushes me to do ever better. Our goal in the Czech Republic is to reach the points zone and I’m sure that, with the help of my team, we’ll be able to do it.”
