The 2023 WorldSBK of the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team ends in Portimão

Just one week after the Motorland Aragon round, the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team moved to Portugal, to the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve

, for the eleventh round of the Superbike World Championship.
For Sandro Carusi's team this will be the last commitment of 2023 in the premier class of derivatives, and therefore both the team and the rider Bradley Ray are very motivated and intent on finishing the championship in the best possible way. The last races at both Magny-Cours and Aragon were lacking in satisfaction for the team and the rider and did not reflect the excellent work done by both.
The Internacional do Algarve autodrome is located a few kilometers from Portimao in southern Portugal. It was inaugurated in 2008, precisely on the occasion of the World Superbike and Supersport races. Its track, made up of ups and downs and with curves that require breathtaking braking, has a length of 4,592 meters, with 15 curves of which 9 on the right and 6 on the left. Pole position is on the left.

"After the last two rounds, which were quite difficult for us, we arrive in Portimão eager to make up for it, but also to prepare our future. We hope to achieve good results, in order to better evaluate the decisions to be made".

“I can't wait to get to Portimão and I really want to start this weekend with some concrete results, for me and for the team, because we deserve it! The previous two rounds were not easy, but I hope that in this last weekend of our season the team and I can do an excellent job together."
