The Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSSP300 Team continues its commitment to the entry level class of production-derived motorcycles. In 2025, Sandro Carusi's team will field two of the most talented and promising riders in the category: Australian Cameron Swain and Spaniard Marc Vich.
Cameron Swain was born in Oxford, United Kingdom on August 14, 2008. He started racing motorcycles at the age of eight. In 2021 he won the Oceania Junior Cup and in 2023 he became Australian champion of the R3 Cup. Last season he raced in the Yamaha R3 World Cup, winning the Magny Cours race in the rain and with a wide advantage.
Marc Vich was born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain on October 9, 2006 and started racing at just three years old. His career, although still short, has always been on the rise, up to the prestigious victory of the Yamaha bLU cRU in 2024.
Two Yamaha-branded champions, who will compete in the Supersport 300 world championship for the first time, both animated by great enthusiasm and the desire to demonstrate their value, supported by the experience and skills of Sandro Carusi's team.
“Continuing the SSP300 project was part of our plans and I am happy to be able to make it happen. We have been involved in this category for some time as part of the Yamaha bLU cRU path and in 2025 we will also field two young talented riders, coming from the European Cup. We are very confident and eager to help Swain and Vich express their full potential”.
