Ray keen for WorldSBK round ten at Motorland Aragón!

Everything is set at Motorland Aragón in Spain for round ten of the Superbike World Championship.

After a difficult previous round at Magny Cours, the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team and its rider Bradley Ray, are eager to get back to work and continue with the growth that is characterizing the season of both parties.
The Spanish track is not totally new to the British rider as he previously competed there in the Rookies Cup race and also completed a test in late March with the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team. He will nevertheless need to work hard with his technicians to find the best set-up for his YZF-R1 heading into this weekend.
As always, the aim is to reach the points zone in all three races, but above all to confirm the competitiveness already shown to date.
Motorland Aragón, also known as “La Ciudad del Motor”, is located close to the town of Alcaniz, in the Aragón region of Spain. The track offers various configurations, with that used for the Superbike races measuring 5077 metres with seventeenth corners, seven of which right-handers and ten left. It was designed by Hermann Tilke and is part of a vast complex, divided into three areas, with a technological park, sports area (which, as well as a track also includes a karting track and some off-road tracks) and cultural area. It has hosted World Superbike since 2011.

“For us the Aragón race is really important, also in terms of starting to evaluate the level we’ve reached with Bradley, and to understand whether we have what we need to continue together. It will be essential to score good results, so that we can head into the final rounds with confidence.”

“I really can’t wait to get to Aragón this weekend! I really like the track and know it well, because I already tested there with my Yamaha and the team. After what we did at Magny Cours, I’m keen to get back to work with the team and continue to improve!”
