The second round of the Superbike World Championship is now underway at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain.
WorldSBK Team and its rider Bradley Ray recently completed a two-day test at this same track, and today the British rider began the weekend with the setup identified during last week’s sessions.
Ray was not immediately able to find good feeling with his bike, also due to different weather conditions, which meant he finished the morning’s first practice in twenty-first place, with a time of 1’43”161.
During the afternoon, the track conditions worsened due to higher temperatures, and the
Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK rider was unable to improve on his references, maintaining the same position in the standings.
Tomorrow morning will see Bradley Ray compete first in Superpole and then in the first of the weekend’s races.

“We’re in a little difficulty at the end of this first day of practice. The modifications we’ve made since last week’s test haven’t brought the desired results unfortunately. We trust that tomorrow’s work will help us to be more competitive.”
“Today was a difficult day, we tried to find a good feeling with the bike and work to close the gap to the top guys. We have some work to do overnight to make a plan for tomorrow! I have faith in the team anyway, and I know we can turn it around and be competitive again.”
