An encouraging end to the weekend for Ray at Misano

The fourth WorldSBK round concluded under sunny skies at the Misano World Circuit today.

After completing two free practices on Friday, Bradley Ray and the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team qualified twenty-third in Superpole before finishing Race 1 in eighteenth place.
This morning, the British rider was back out at the Italian track for the Superpole Race, a sprint race comprised of just ten laps. Like yesterday, Bradley lined up on the eighth row of the grid, before ultimately crossing the line twentieth.

In the afternoon Ray took part in the final race, crossing the line seventeenth and showing significant signs of improvement.
The next WorldSBK round is scheduled to take place on 12-14 July at Donington Park in the UK.

“We radically changed the bike setup for today and were able to improve on our race time by ten seconds. We’ll work to identify the best way forward ahead of the next race.”

“It wasn’t the easiest of weekends for me and the team. Today we made a step with the bike in both races, and I feel like we now have a direction to follow. Next up is my home round at Donington, which I’m looking forward to.”
