Team MotoXracing is ready to head out on track with riders Denise Dal Zotto #8 and Silvia Comincioli #93 for round two of the Women’s European Championship and round three of the CIV Femminile at the Cremona Circuit, on 7-9 June.
A double commitment for Sandro Carusi’s team then, with the squad having made an interesting and promising start to the season. The action got underway with a bang during round one at Misano, where the team showed signs of growth in both the European and Italian Championships. The two riders immediately scored valuable points for the standings and gradually improved the feeling with their Yamaha YZF-R3 bikes.
The second CIV Femminile round saw Denise positively shine. After demonstrating strong pace in practice and qualifying, she was able to harness this in the race to score an excellent second place, followed by a win in Race 1. This victory saw her move into the lead in the general standings, confirming both her talent and the team’s competitiveness. Silvia also had a positive weekend during which she consistently placed top ten across both rounds.
The next Cremona round will be key in terms of managing this lead and continuing to fight at the front.
The weekend’s action will get underway on Friday with the first practice session. Riders will be back out on Saturday for FP2, followed by qualifying in the afternoon. The race will run on Sunday at 11:25 local time (CET).
“We’re excited going into this round at the Cremona Circuit. We’ve worked hard and the team is ready to support our riders. We’re sure of our potential and will do all we can to fulfil it.”
“We’ve worked really hard to get everything ready for this European race weekend and the CIV Femminile. I can’t wait to get out on track and continue our work!”
“The second European round is just around the corner! I’m really pleased; it’s my home round and I’ll prepare as well as I can. I’ve always liked the track and, now with the latest modifications, I can say I enjoyed it even more during the recent tests. We’re also ready for the CIV Femminile.”
