Team MotoXracing and riders Denise Dal Zotto #8 and Silvia Comincioli #93 round out the second round of the Women’s European Championship and the third CIV Femminile round, held at the Cremona Circuit, with excellent results. Already on Friday, the two riders approached FP1 with the aim of finding the right setup for qualifying.
Saturday proved particularly challenging. Denise Dal Zotto exploited every available session, heading out on track already at 8:30 for the second free practice session. A decision that paid off, in that she was able to lower her time to set a best of 1:46.893, positioning among the three fastest riders in CIV Femminile and the four fastest in the WEC.
At 12:50, both riders took on first qualifying. The aim was to start out with good race pace and set a solid lap time to secure a place on the front rows of the grid. Denise #8 did well to finish P5 with a time of 1:46.453. It was a more complicated session for Silvia, who was unable to find the feeling needed to improve on her time. Silvia was nevertheless able to do more during Q2, earning a spot on the fourth row.
The race played out on Sunday, and it wasn't an easy one for Silvia although she was able to score solid points, crossing the line in eighth in both championships. Denise Dal Zotto put in an excellent performance despite a complicated start, able to make up positions with a series of thrilling passes and battling for the podium in both the European Championship and the CIV Femminile. She ultimately scored a second place in the Italian Championship and a fourth in the European Championship.
Team MotoXracing, headed up by Sandro Carusi, now prepares for the next round at Brno on 5-7 July.

I'm also pleased with Silvia who, despite a few difficulties, was able to come out strong and score important points. She has the potential to fight for top five, we're working on it!”
“It was a great race, and we improved a lot with respect to yesterday’s qualifying, for which I want to apologise to the team for the mistakes I made. I made a bad start today, but I was able to climb back up to second in the CIV Femminile and fourth in the WEC! So, I’m really happy!”
“We've worked effectively this weekend. Qualifying didn’t go exactly as planned, but I rolled up my sleeves for the race and set out with the aim of having fun. I’m pleased overall and will now focus on Brno.”
