Team MotoXracing is keen and determined as it prepares to head out on track with Denise Dal Zotto #8 and Silvia Comincioli #93 for the highly anticipated third round of the Women’s European Championship at the Brno Circuit on 5-7 July.
After almost a month’s wait, Sandro Carusi’s riders are ready to tackle the first non-Italian event on the European Championship calendar, at the Brno Circuit, one of motorcycling’s most technical and historic tracks. The two riders will experience the Czech track and its fourteen winding turns for the first time, an important challenge for the pair as they continue to grow with the Yamaha YZF-R3.
Denise and Silvia’s season got off to a great start with both riders proving competitive and fighting for the top ten at each round. The Cremona round was a little tougher for #93 and so Brno brings an opportunity for her to make up for this. Denise on the other hand continues her ascent, aiming for the podium after scoring very strong results during the opening rounds.
The race weekend will begin on Friday with free practice. An intense Saturday will see riders line up for qualifying, followed by Race 1 at 6.30pm. The adrenaline will reach a peak on Sunday when Race 2 kicks off at 11.20am.
“We’re enthusiastic ahead of the Brno round. It will be a new track for us, but we’re ready to take on the challenge. We’ve worked hard and will do all we can to run at the front again this weekend."
“I’m so happy to race at Brno, a new track for me! There’s so much to learn but I can’t wait to do just that together with my team.”
“This third championship round at Brno will see me compete further from home than I ever have before. I have four sessions in which to work hard and learn every single detail ahead of the races. The team and I will work hard to place as close to the front as possible. I can’t wait to get started!”
