Team MotoXracing is ready to head out on track with riders Denise Dal Zotto #8 and Silvia Comincioli #93 for the highly anticipated final round of the Women’s European Championship and the CIV Femminile at Imola’s Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari on 27-29 September.
Just two weeks on from the fifth CIV Femminile round at Varano, Sandro Carusi’s riders are back on the attack as they take on the season finale. After a season of strong results and podiums, both riders are ready to play a starring role aboard their Yamaha YZF-R3 bikes. Denise is still in the fight for the title of Italian champion and will do all she can to try and finish at the top of the standings.
The riders will take on one of Italy’s most technical circuits: Imola. Inaugurated in 1953, the track measures 4909 metres and features nineteen very tricky turns. The squad is ready to give its all this weekend, with no shortage of determination!
The race weekend kicks off on Friday with free practice and the first qualifying session. Qualifying 2 will take place on Saturday, followed by Race 1 at 16:35, while the final race of the 2024 season will run on Sunday at 12:30.
“We’re excited heading into the season finale. I’m very proud of our riders and how they’ve worked this season. Our goal is to end in the best possible way!"
“I’m very pleased to be at Imola this weekend for the final round of the WEC and CIV Femminile. I’m ready to work hard with the team to bring home the best possible result.”
“I’m very emotional as we prepare for the round at Imola, a track I’ve never ridden at before. It’s a technical one that requires real concentration and precision. This race will be particularly important, because it’s the last, both for the CIV Femminile and the WEC. To finish fourth in the WEC, in my rookie season, would be a positive result, and I’ll be doing all I can on track to achieve this goal.”
