Team MotoXracing is ready to head out on track for the final round of the 2024 FIM Women's Motorcycling World Championship with rider Roberta Ponziani, the current Italian champion.
Right from the season-opener at Misano in June, Roberta has proved to be one of the championship’s key players thanks to her incredible speed. Rounds at Donington and Portimao, two new tracks for her, brought a little bad luck that also had to do with the unstable weather. But despite this, #96 has consistently placed inside the top ten to score important points. Cremona brought a long-awaited podium, which only confirmed the MotoXracing athlete’s obvious potential. Having just completed the Estoril round, the Italian team will now take on the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto in Spain.
Located close to Cadiz, in Andalusia, the circuit was inaugurated in 1985. Measuring 4.423 km in length and comprising 13 corners, it was dedicated to the memory of Ángel Nieto after his passing. Roberta and Team MotoXracing are ready to take to the track.
“We’ve had a very positive season and have given it our all. We’d like to finish strong and bring home some more points. We’re excited and ready to do our best.”
“I’m happy to get straight back out on track at Jerez, the last round of the season! It won’t be an easy one considering this is a home track for all the Spanish riders but I’m confident! See you on track!”
