Team MotoXracing is ready to head out on track for the second round of the 2024 FIM Women's Motorcycling World Championship with its two talented riders, current Italian champion Roberta Ponziani #96 and French rider Ornella Ongaro #28. The legendary Donington Park circuit in the UK is the ideal stage for their next challenge.
After a memorable debut at the Misano World Circuit, where the WorldWRC made history in June, the MotoXracing riders will now tackle round two at the historic British track located close to Castle Donington. With its seven right-hand turns and five left-handers, the circuit poses another new challenge for the duo.
Having reached the top ten during their maiden outing and with #96 having battled for the podium in both races, Roberta and Ornella will be aiming to replicate, or improve upon, their initial performance during the season-opener. Determined to adapt fast to the new track, both riders are ready to make their mark and put on another strong showing this weekend.
Here, the schedule for the sessions and races making up round two of the WorldWCR:

“It’s time for round 2 of the championship. The Donington weekend will help us to understand our riders’ true potential, but after the strong results achieved last time out, I’m very confident about what our riders can do!”
“I’m really pleased to race at Donington this weekend. The weather’s something of an unknown, but I hope we can be fast in all conditions and aim for the podium.”
“I’ve never raced at Donington, so it’s going to be interesting! On Friday I’ll only have one session in which to find the right feeling but I’m optimistic. My goal will be to find the kind of speed I had in Race 2 at Misano, have fun, and bring home a good result of course. See you on the track!”
