Il Team Soradis Motoxracing, ed i suoi due giovani piloti Andrea Pizzoli e Devis Bergamini, hanno disputato sul circuito di Donington Park in Inghilterra le due gare valide per il quarto round della Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup.

Venerdì, dopo aver svolto un turno di prove libere, Bergamini e Pizzoli sono stati grandi protagonisti della Superpole. Pizzoli ha conquistato la pole position con il crono di 1’45”989, seguito da Bergamini, che ha fermato i cronometri sul tempo di 1’45”990 ad un solo millesimo di secondo dal suo compagno di squadra!
I due sono quindi scattati dalla prima fila in entrambe le gare di questo round inglese.
Nella prima che si è disputata sabato in tarda mattinata sulla distanza di 11 giri, grande vittoria di Bergamini, che dopo aver concluso al comando il primo giro ha sempre lottato nel gruppo di testa, per poi passare per primo sotto la bandiera a scacchi. Il predominio del Team Soradis Motoxracing è stato completato da Pizzoli, che ha ottenuto un ottimo terzo posto.
Uno strepitoso Devis Bergamini si è imposto anche in gara2, conquistando così una fantastica doppietta che in classifica lo porta a 123 punti, a meno 26 punti dalla prima posizione, quando mancano ancora 2 round (4 gare) al termine del campionato. Pizzoli ha disputato un'ottima gara, sempre con i primi, ma nel finale si è dovuto accontentare del settimo posto. Nella classifica generale occupa ora la quarta posizione con 102 punti.
Il prossimo appuntamento con la Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup è fissato per il 29 e 30 luglio all’autodromo di Most in Repubblica Ceca.

Andrea Pizzoli: “Il weekend era iniziato bene. In Superpole ho conquistato la pole position ed in gara1 sono salito sul terzo gradino del podio, dopo una gara combattuta e divertente. In gara2 ho combattuto sempre nel gruppo di testa, ma purtroppo negli ultimi giri non sono riuscito a concretizzare il mio potenziale. Mi spiace perché ho perso una buona occasione, ma sono già con la mente a Most. dove darò il massimo per rimettermi in gioco per il campionato. So di averne le possibilità, anche perché posso contare su di una grande squadra ”.

Devis Bergamini: “E’ stato un weekend incredibile ad iniziare dalle prove e dalla Superpole, per terminare con due fantastiche vittorie nelle gare. La pista mi è piaciuta molto e la mia moto era davvero competitiva grazie al mio team, che ha fatto un ottimo lavoro. In classifica ci siamo avvicinati alla vetta e quindi dobbiamo continuare così e concentrarci sul prossimo appuntamento di Most”.

Fantastic double for Bergamini and podium for Pizzoli in the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup races at Donington

The Soradis Motoxracing Team and its young riders Andrea Pizzoli and Devis Bergamini have completed the two races making up round four of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup at Donington Park.
On Friday, after taking part in a free practice session, Bergamini and Pizzoli stood out in the Superpole. Pizzoli scored pole position with a time of 1’45”989, followed by Bergamini, who stopped the clock on 1’45”990, just one thousandth of a second behind his team-mate!
The pair therefore lined up on the front row of the grid for the two British races.
In the first, which ran on Saturday morning over a distance of eleven laps, Bergamini achieved a stunning win. After completing the first lap out front, he continued to battle as part of the leading group before crossing the line first. Pizzoli ensured Team Soradis Motoxracing’s domination by finishing the race third
An impressive Devis Bergamini did it again in race 2, his double win taking him to 123 points in the championship, just 26 points from first, with two rounds (or four races) to go until the end of the championship. Pizzoli ran with the frontrunners but lost ground in the final stages and had to settle for seventh place. He now lies fourth in the general standings with 102 points.
The next round of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup will take place on 29-30 July at the Most Circuit in the Czech Republic.

Andrea Pizzoli: “The weekend started well. I scored pole position in Superpole and reached the third step of the podium in race 1 after a fun, hard-fought race. In race 2 I battled as part of the leading group but unfortunately I wasn’t able to confirm my potential in the final laps. I’m sorry because I missed out on a good opportunity but I’m already focusing on Most where I’ll do my best to get back into the fight. I know it’s possible, also because I can count on a great team.”

Devis Bergamini: “It’s been an incredible weekend, right from practice and Superpole and one we’ve ended with two fantastic race wins. I really liked the track, and my bike was really competitive thanks to all the team’s hard work. We’ve closed in on the championshio lead and so we need to continue like this and focus on the next round at Most”.
