E’ passato oltre un mese dall’ultimo round del WorldSBK che si è disputato a Most in Repubblica Ceca ed ora, al termine della pausa estiva, il Motoxracing ed il suo pilota Roberto Tamburini sono pronti a gareggiare a Magny Cours in Francia, nel settimo round del mondiale Superbike.

Sulla pista della Repubblica Ceca Roberto Tamburini aveva confermato la qualità del lavoro della propria squadra, oltre alle sue indubbie capacità, terminando Gara2 all’undicesimo posto, ed eguagliando così il suo miglior risultato stagionale, già ottenuto a Misano e ad Assen.
Il pilota italiano conosce la pista francese, anche se non ci corre da quattro anni, e per lui come per tutto il team di Sandro Carusi, l’obiettivo è quello di continuare i progressi dimostrati dall’inizio del campionato, puntando alla zona punti ma sempre pronti a sfruttare la possibilità di centrare la top ten.
Il Circuito di Magny Cours è situato vicino alle cittadine di Magny Cours e di Nevers, nel dipartimento della Nièvre in Borgogna. E’ stato costruito nel 1960 e dalla metà degli anni 80 ha iniziato ad ospitare competizioni a livello mondiale. Il tracciato alterna allunghi a staccate decise, con curve molto impegnative. In passato ha ospitato anche la famosa gara del Bol d’Or ed è sempre molto frequentata dagli appassionati motociclisti francesi, che affollano le tribune specialmente in occasione del WorldSBK.
La pista è lunga mt.4.411 e dispone di 17 curve, delle quali 9 sono a destra e 8 a sinistra.

Sandro Carusi – Team Principal: "Siamo pronti ad affrontare le ultime tre gare della nostra stagione. Speriamo di ricominciare da Magny Cours con la stessa competitività che abbiamo dimostrato prima della pausa estiva".

Roberto Tamburini: “Sono contento di tornare in pista dopo una pausa così lunga. Sono quattro anni che non corro a Magny Cours e quindi sarà importante riprendere confidenza in fretta con il tracciato francese. Spero che il meteo sia favorevole in modo da consentirci di lavorare sulla nostra moto, per ritrovare un buon feeling con la nostra R1. In gara l’obiettivo è sempre quello di entrare in zona punti, e sono fiducioso di poterci riuscire anche grazie all’aiuto della mia squadra”.

After the summer break, WorldSBK is back in action at Magny Cours in France

More than a month has passed since the last WorldSBK round, held at Most in the Czech Republic and now that the summer break is at an end, MotoXRacing and rider Roberto Tamburini are ready to compete at Magny Cours in France, during the seventh round of the Superbike World Championship.
Roberto Tamburini confirmed the quality of his team’s work, as well as his evident ability at the Czech track, where he finished race 2 in eleventh place to match his best result of the season, already scored at Misano and Assen.
The Italian rider knows the French track and even though he and his team haven’t raced there for four years, the aim is to continue to make progress, just as they have since day one, aiming for the points zone but ever ready to exploit the possibility of reaching the top ten.
The Magny Cours Circuit is located close to the towns of Magny Cours and Nevers, in the Nièvre department in the region of Burgundy. It was constructed in 1960 and began staging international race competitions in the mid-80s. The track alternates the need for acceleration and hard braking, with some very challenging corners. In the past, it has also hosted the famous Bol d’Or race and is always crowded with French motorcycle fans, who flock to the grandstands, particularly for WorldSBK.
The track measures 4.411 kilometres in length and features 17 corners, of which nine right-handers and eight left.
